Hunger for Words was founded by Christina Hunger, a speech therapist who saw many of the characteristics in her puppy Stella that she also sees in toddlers just before they start talking. The Hunger for Words speech buttons combine animal psychology, speech pathology and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) into an educational and fun game in which the dog learns to make his or her voice heard. The Next Words: Names set contains three buttons that can be spoken yourself. Themed icon stickers are included that make it clear what is spoken on the button. A manual is included with the set.
