- Description
The special food for all ornamental water birds in ponds, at petting zoos, in city parks, zoos and in the wild. Ornamental water birds include all duck species (wild and domestic or ornamental ducks), geese and swans. Taking into account the needs of the animals at every stage of their development, there is a feeding system that, if used correctly, promotes good rearing, feathering and production.
KFF Duck Grain is a supplementary feed for water birds.
- Pure grain mixture of whole wheat, cracked corn, sorghum (milocorn) and millet
- Recommended for waterfowl such as wild ducks, domestic ducks, ornamental ducks, geese and swans
- To be provided in addition to a complete feed, a maximum of 25% of the daily dose, on land or in a container under water
- It goes without saying that you provide sufficient fresh and clean drinking water, because ornamental water birds use a lot of it!
- Always provide sufficient stomach gravel and provide grit as needed, especially during the breeding season.
- Give duck grain especially during the moulting season for extra energy and to reduce the protein percentage of Anseres Floating or Anseres Sea duck grain during autumn and winter.
- Duck grain can be fed in containers under water (± 10 cm depth).
