Properties per ingredient: PURE Psyllium only contains the active ingredient, namely the membrane of the psyllium and not the whole seed. This has the property that it can absorb a lot of moisture. This makes the intestinal contents softer and more voluminous, which improves intestinal transit. This prevents constipation and improves intestinal peristalsis. Psyllium Husk can bind toxins and heavy metals and thus support the body's detoxification mechanism. PURE Psyllium is given with plenty of water for loose stools and with little water for constipation.

The optimal dosage is 1 - 2 x daily:

Dog > 25 kg 1.5 scoop

Dog 10-25 kg 1 scoop

Administration

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from 1 to 3 days. If improvement continues, continue administering this product for a few days.

In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 days. If improvement occurs, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, pay close attention to the animal's reaction. A higher dose may be required initially, but this product can safely be given in double doses. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose.

This product can be given permanently.
