Trixie Matatabi Chewing Sticks 10 gr
Trixie's matatabi sticks are 100% natural, have a game-stimulating scent and support dental care. It offers distraction, which is useful in certain situations such as during a trip, moving, expanding the family or admission to a boarding house or at the vet. Matatabi sticks are often used for cats that show aggression, do not show toilet-trained behavior, scratch furniture, meow a lot, lick themselves a lot or are frustrated.

Properties per ingredient:
The Matatabi tree is related to the Kiwi tree and grows in Asia, especially in China and Japan. The dried twigs of this tree have a very special effect on cats. It contains a substance that cats like, which relaxes them and sometimes even causes them to hallucinate to a mild extent.
Matatabi contains actinicin and matatabi lactone. These are alkaloids with a mild chloroform or alcohol-like effect that influence the nerve stimulation in the brain of Felidae.
It is often seen that cats that are naturally relaxed and relaxed have less interest in the sticks than cats that are under tension.

How to use the Matatabi chopsticks
You can give Matatabi as a toy. Cats play with the stick, some chew it or bite it to pieces. Many cats will roll and rub in places where the stick or remnants of it used to be.
If the bark is removed from the stick, the effect is even greater.

Side effects: There are no harmful side effects. Some cats can react very differently to the sticks. For example, there were owners who reported that their cat seemed 'ecstatic' with pleasure and some cats also drooled (lightly). This is innocent.

Dosage:
Do not give more than two to three times a week, otherwise habituation will occur and the sticks will become less interesting. Remove the stick once the cat has finished playing.

Remark:
In combination with medication, consult a veterinarian first. If problems occur, stop feeding and consult your vet
